About the Team

Lyons and Pakchar are a theater and songwriting duo based in New York City. They, along with Relentless Award-winning playwright Harrison David Rivers, are currently developing their musical Five Points with Hamilton's Andy Blankenbuehler. Their works have played or been developed at Roundabout Theater Company, Lincoln Center, Papermill Playhouse, Flint Rep, The Old Globe, Goodspeed Musicals, Seattle Rep, Joe's Pub, NAMT and more. Lyons and Pakchar are 2020 Jonathan Larson Grant finalists. Theater: Five Points world premiere (MN Theatre Award for Exceptional New Work, Theatre Latte Da) , Beau (Adirondack Theatre Festival , Sony Masterworks Album). Commissions: '64 (The 5th Ave), The Funeral (Prospect Theater Co), Fatigue with Jodi Picoult, and The Hamlet Remix.

Douglas Lyons is an actor, writer, director, composer, and playwright. Writing - TV: Fraggle Rock (Apple TV). Theater: Polkadots (Off Broadway Alliance Winner Best Family Show, Atlantic Theater Company), Chicken and Biscuits (Queens Theatre), Sunshine (Long Wharf Theatre), Pete(Her)Pan (Pace New Musicals). Upcoming 2021 productions: The Moon and The Sea (Adirondack Theatre Festival). Acting - Broadway: Beautiful (Original Cast) and The Book of Mormon. Ethan D. Pakchar is a composer, writer, and guitarist. Upcoming short animated film: Producer/Composer/Co-Writer “A Morning Opus.” Upcoming album: Composer “A Journey Through Breaths” under the pseudonym “The Mindful Moos". As a guitarist, Ethan has played for Sara Bareilles, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Porter, Cynthia Erivo, the Radio City Orchestra, and the Broadway productions of Hamilton, Wicked, Book of Mormon, Lion King, and Dear Evan Hansen.
